| Wiser Technology (WISR) announced that its Board of Directors has approved a capital increase by issuing up to 4,562,792 new shares, each with an issue price of BGN 6.00. The company aims to raise BGN 27.4 million to settle bridge financing for acquiring the remaining 48.98% stake in Prime Holding, complete the payment for the Badin Soft acquisition, and fund future M&A initiatives. The share offering will be deemed successful if at least 2,281,396 shares, representing 50% of the total offering, are subscribed and paid for. After the announcement WISR’s share price was recorded at BGN 5.85, reflecting an 11.4% rise over the past month and a 5.4% increase for the day.
Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) IPO Growth, an investment firm, successfully finalized its BGN 11.55 million initial public offering (IPO) on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange’s (BSE) main market. The offering consisted of 10,500,000 new shares, each with a nominal value of BGN 1.00 and an issue price of BGN 1.10 and was fully subscribed. The BSE group acquired 28.16% of the shares, totaling 2,956,800, while institutional investors subscribed to 66.98% and retail investors to 3.92% of the remaining shares. The new Fund is expected to invest in local IPOs at both the main market and the SME growth market, improving market depth. Wiser Technology (WISR) has been named the fastest-growing and most dynamic IT company in Bulgaria for 2024, according to the annual Digitalk 101 ranking by Capital. The ranking highlights Wiser’s significant revenue growth from 2023 to 2024, securing the company the top spot among all participants. Additionally, Wiser leads the Top 50 Most Dynamic Companies list, which evaluates cumulative growth from 2022 to 2024, underscoring the company’s consistent progress over the past two years. Based on a projected revenue of €38 million for 2025, Digitalk 101 ranks Wiser second in expected growth, trailing only a product-based company, making Wiser the leader in projected growth among IT service companies.
ü According to preliminary data by NSI, Bulgaria’s industrial production index decreased by 1.7% MoM in Jun’25. On an annual basis, the working day adjusted index was down by 8.2%. On a monthly basis, the production decreased in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 5.2% (-17.6% YoY) and in manufacturing (-2.4% MoM; -7.1% YoY), while mining and quarrying industry registered a 16.9% advance (+27.5% YoY). ü According to seasonally-adjusted data, Bulgaria’s Jun’25 construction production index decreased by 0.2% MoM. On an annual basis, the working day adjusted index was up by 4.3%. On a monthly basis, construction of buildings advanced by 0.4% (+4.2% YoY) and specialized construction activities registered a 0.2% increase (+3.6% YoY), while civil engineering decreased by 1.6% (+5.5% YoY). |
