| Wiser Technology (WISR) announced their participation in 4 projects from the European Defence Fund targeted in building a new generation of defence capabilities in Europe. The total budget exceeds EUR 120mln and united leading EU companies and research organizations to develop capabilities in cyberdefence, aviation systems, AI and naval operations. Wiser has a strong 10 year track record in the EU defence ecosystem with participation in over 15 projects funded by the European Commission. The company works with leading EU producers, such as Airbus, Leonardo, Rheinmetall, Thales, Indra and Kongsberg.
Dronamics (DRON) announced a cooperation with Asia Air Survey, where the two companies will work towards deploying Dronamics’ drone technology in aerial surveying, disaster prevention and civil protection in Japan and overseas. The management is welcoming Asia Air Survey (TSE: 9233) as a strategic investor to support geospatial applications and is opening a subsidiary in Japan, Dronamics Japan Holdings Co., Ltd. Through its Corporate Venture Capital arm, Asia Air Survey, a publicly listed Japanese leader in state-of-the-art geospatial technology, becomes the first Japanese investor in Dronamics and key strategic partner to jointly explore the deployment of geospatial solutions with Dronamics drones in Japan and abroad. Stara Planina Hold (SPH) announced the consolidated sales in the group for March. They grew 9.84% to EUR 36.8mln. Main factors were the growth in sales in M&S Hydraulic (MSH), which rose by 15.12% to EUR 20.6mln and Hydraulic Elements and Systems (HES), which rose by 21.96% to EUR 11.9mln. Elhim Iskra (ELHM), on the other hand decreased by 17.77% to EUR 3.5mln and Bulgarian Roze (ROZA) had a marginal increase of 9.14% to EUR 0.6mln. Sopharma Trading (SFT) announced 2025 consolidated results, where revenues increased by 17.4% to EUR 1.166Bn. The cost control resulted in EBIT increasing by 35% to EUR 41.9mln and Net Profit shooting even more by over 51% to EUR 30mln.
ü Bulgaria had its elections on 19 April 2026 where the new party of the former President Rumen Radev, Progressive Bulgaria, won 44.59% of the votes giving them 130 seats in the 240 seat parliament. Second place was for GERB-SDS earning 39 seats, We Continue The Change – Democratic Bulgaria – 37 seats, Movements for Rights and Freedoms – 21 seats and Revival with 13 seats. ü No major economics news this week.
