A CLEAR TURNAROUND PERIOD FOR STARA PLANINA HOLD

The main Bulgarian index SOFIX decreased this week by 0.09% to 1073.01 points. The broad index BGBX40 decreased this week by 0.29% to 193.17 points and BGREIT decreased this week to 228.64 points, down by 0.14%.
Corporate News
Hydraulic Elements and Systems (HES) – reported Q3 results. The revenues grew 8% to BGN 61mln. In the same time, OPEX grew 7% to BGN 56.7mln. While they expected the cyclical nature to affect sales negatively as Q3 is generally a slower quarter, there is a clear upward trend in the last 4 quarters. Gross profit grew 21.9% to BGN 4.1mln.

Stara Planina Hold (SPH) – announced sales for the 9 months of 2025, which increase 0.67% to BGN 198mln. The contributors for that were the largest companies M+S Hydraulic AD, whose sales grew 2.14% to BGN 104.6mln and Hydraulic Elements and Systems, with sales growing over 8% to BGN 61mln. The remaining companies – Elhim Iskra AD marked a sales decline of 14.5% to BGN 22.3mln and Bulgarian Rose, marking a decline of 7.32% to BGN 3.5mln. The estimate is to have even more positive 10th month with total sales reaching BGN 223.7mln.

Sirma Group (SGH) announced that considering the latest trend for increased demand for consulting for IT systems architecture, networks, cybersecurity and information technology, the company has registered a subsidiary in Dubai, UAE, headquartered at the Dubai World Trade Center, Sheikh Rashid Tower. The company expects to attract additional clients beyond its traditional European oriented markets.

Herti AD (HERT) announced Q3 results, where sales grew 9.5% to BGN 57.6mln. In the same time, OPEX grew 12.3% to BGN 53.1mln, which affected the profitability and as a result Net Profit dropped 25.3% to BGN 4.7mln.

TEC Maritsa 3 AD (MR3) – announced results for Q3. Sales dropped marginally to BGN 23.4mln. In the same time OPEX dropped significantly from BGN 49mln to BGN 26.5mln, which helped decreased the massive loss in Q3 2024 of BGN 22.5mln to a loss of BGN 4.3mln now. The massive decrease in OPEX is from a decrease in the account of Other operational expenses, which drops from BGN 22.8mln to BGN 1.5mln, but there is no disclosure what stays behind it.

ITF Group (ITF) announced that they have made an interest payment of BGN 254 thousand under their bond issue with ISIN BG2100009245.

EMKA (EMKA) announced results for Q3. Sales increased 3% to BGN 126.8mln. In the same time, OPEX increased by 4.6% to BGN 119mln, which resulted in Net Profit dropping from BGN 8.2mln to BGN 7.7mln.
